What it does

The confidence score determines whether to hold the turn longer; the demo shows Jev decisions taking about 224 milliseconds.

How you can use it

You can use this idea to stop a voice character from interrupting someone who pauses mid-sentence. Have a developer set your app to wait half a second after someone goes quiet, check if they finished speaking, and add extra waiting time when their sentence seems incomplete. You will need to test and tune these pause lengths.
