What it does

FilmHunch evaluates the 5,000 most-rated films and 300 retrieved candidates, then scores the top 40 again using full plot profiles to improve matches over standard vector retrieval. Running it requires TMDB, OpenAI and TypeSafe API keys.

How you can use it

Set up a local database and provide your own keys for the movie-data and AI services to run FilmHunch. Once it is running, describe a movie’s vibe or plot in your own words. The search reads thousands of film summaries to find the best matches.
