A linter for mistakes that pass the type checker, like a comment promising null while the function throws.

You write each rule as a sentence; ast-grep finds the relevant code and Jev judges whether it breaks the rule.
Start by choosing which files or project folders to inspect for misleading comments and mismatched names. A developer can run the scanner across the whole directory. The tool matches code patterns and asks plain-English questions to spot where your program contradicts its own labels.
The scanner finds relevant code on your computer, but it sends those snippets over the internet to an external evaluation service for answers. That service requires an access key to connect your tool to it, so do not run the check on private or sensitive files.
