Mail actions depend on your own rubrics, thresholds, and confidence gates, so careful configuration matters.
Start by writing clear yes-or-no questions for your inbox, such as asking whether an email is an invoice. Decide what should happen when a score is high, like tagging the message, flagging it, or moving it to another folder.
A developer can set up the program using a special account key from a service like TypeSafe or OpenRouter to make the calls. Keep in mind that incoming email text gets sent to an outside service, and automated rules can still make mistakes on important messages.
