You can sketch out an obstacle game and decide the few exact moves a character can make, like jumping or ducking. Instead of asking the AI to write out full sentences, your developer can have it calculate the chance of each move directly. This skips slow typing and gives immediate answers.
To help the game react quickly, have your software crop the screen to show only the path right ahead of the runner. Keep in mind this setup requires a powerful computer to run smoothly on its own, and slight delays can still cause mistakes if obstacles arrive too fast.
