What it does
This client calls the hosted Jev Search service, not TypeSafe directly. The Claude Code hook falls back to built-in search when the service fails or returns no usable hits.

How you can use it
A developer can connect an AI assistant to multiple search engines at once. When someone asks the assistant to find recent thoughts on a Framework laptop, the tool sends that question to an outside service called Jev Search.
The service checks sites like Reddit and DuckDuckGo to return a ranked list of links and summaries. The assistant reads those summaries to answer the person. This default search allows roughly ten requests per minute. If a request fails, the tool switches back to a standard web search.
