A developer can add this tool to a chat app to manage long conversations. The app asks an outside AI service called TypeSafe to review the history. The tool then removes old messages that TypeSafe rejects. It only checks long conversations to avoid extra wait times. Main instructions are always kept safe.
To use this tool, your developer needs an access key from TypeSafe. This code connects your app to their service. They currently have a waitlist for new keys. If the connection fails or you lack a key, your chat continues normally without removing anything.
