Yoshi trims old messages from Claude Code and Codex conversations, using Jev to decide what's still relevant.
A developer can run this background program alongside an AI coding assistant like Claude Code. It reads long conversation histories and asks Jev, an outside AI service, which old messages to remove. Your developer starts it on your computer and points the assistant to it. They must provide an access key connecting the tool to Jev.
This extra step makes the coding assistant run slower than usual. It also sends pieces of your source code to the outside service to evaluate. The provider does not promise to delete this data immediately. You should not use this tool with private project code.
