The shortest route stays hidden until the run ends; during play it is used only to grade steps green or overrule them in red.
Sketch your maze on paper first. Draw the circular rings, mark open gates, and place obstacles. Your developer can then translate this board into text descriptions for every space.
Your game asks the online service for the best move from each spot all at once. You must provide an account access key to send these questions. If the service is unsure about a move, your game steps in with a built-in rule instead.
