Chem Autocomplete

Suggest chemical structures while you draw: RDKit builds the candidates, Jev chooses which cards to show, and PubChem matches arrive separately.

What it does

The creator documents a none option rather than forcing a suggestion. This assists structure drawing, not reaction prediction; timings and scientific validity have not been independently established.

How you can use it

Read the two worked examples to see how drawing a molecule can lead to suggested structures or a match in a database of known compounds. The creator’s desktop tool lets you add a suggested card beside your drawing or replace it. These help with drawing; they do not predict reactions.

For your own drawing tool, a developer could build candidates with chemistry software and check them before asking Jev which cards to show. Include a way to choose none. The creator uses outside AI and separate compound lookups. Its private-structure setting limits those lookups, not every operation outside your device.
