For long coding chats, study this plugin’s way of putting old tool results aside instead of deleting them. Jev sees short previews and decides what to keep. Moved results stay in files, with a note in the chat telling the assistant where to read them.
Using it needs early-access Claude Code hooks and a Jev service access key. Conversation text, tool inputs and result previews go to TypeSafe or OpenRouter. Keep the drawer files if you still need their contents. The author says the shortened history does not survive closing and resuming the session.
