Code supplies legal moves and tactical facts, and occasionally tries another safe opening move. The adaptive ladder is this experiment's rating, not an independently established chess Elo.
For your own game, have its code list the moves a player may make. Ask Jev to choose from that list instead of letting it invent a move. This chess project adds facts about captures and threats, and can show players the other choices Jev considered.
Its rating belongs to this experiment, not standard chess competition. Code sometimes chooses another opening move. Even opening the published viewer can start new paid games, so check the cost before trying it.
