What it does

The application limits updates to one hundred changes at a time and cannot handle highly complex requests like combining multiple distant tables or advanced grouping. A high confidence rating from the model does not guarantee the translation is correct, and past tests show it can misunderstand requests or refuse to answer.

How you can use it

Start the application using Docker or Python on your computer, then open the local web interface in your browser. You can explore the included example databases or import your own files to practice asking questions.

Try the documented question asking for the five districts with the highest per-pupil expenditure, then inspect the generated search and results. Imported databases stay as local working copies, preserving originals, but hosted Jev translation sends the question and structured information about the database to an external service. Its confidence does not prove the interpretation correct. Bundled CS50 examples have separate noncommercial share-alike licensing, unlike the MIT code.
