What it does

Jev can hedge or decline to guess when it isn't sure.

How you can use it

You can build an interactive guessing game that stops asking questions once it feels certain. Start by drafting a pool of questions and listing distinctive clues for each target, like regional foods or local slang. A developer can then set up the project and connect your app to the TypeSafe service.

Your developer can have the service review each player reply and pick what to ask next. The app finishes early when it finds a clear match, or admits defeat after twelve tries if answers stay vague. Note that the original design relies on clues written in Japanese to make accurate guesses.

Maker-reported (not independently measured by JevMade): 230–440 ms per turn (author-reported) · About ¥0.31 (~$0.002) for a full twelve-question game (author-reported) · Region accuracy 12/16 measured, guessing 1 of 47 prefectures from about five questions (author-reported) · Binding constraint is the rate limit at 1,200 requests/minute (author-reported)
