What it does

Each connected spreadsheet stores your personal TypeSafe API key in its document properties. A nonblank formula evaluation sends its own API request and can use up your account’s allowance. There is currently no automatic batching across cells or cache that lets them share earlier results.

How you can use it

Your own TypeSafe API key connects the spreadsheet to the service. The formulas can then ask yes/no questions, choose labels or rate cell text. That cell data is sent to TypeSafe, and each filled cell evaluated by a formula can incur a separate paid request rather than reuse another cell’s result.
