Sketch the eight compass directions around your game character and list simple danger rules. Note when nearby enemies, incoming shots, walls, or prizes make a direction safe or risky. A developer can then write code that summarizes nearby threats into plain words for each direction and asks Jev to pick the safest movement path.
Your developer can link the game to helper scripts that run these checks several times a second. Because decisions arrive so quickly, your code must hold a direction briefly. This rule prevents the character from instantly turning around and undoing its progress.
