You can adapt this technique for creative text games, such as having a caveman or robot character speak using only a restricted vocabulary. A developer can borrow the pattern of tracking conversation history, asking the system to choose a single word from a small list, and repeating until it selects a stopping signal.
The major limit is speed. Because the system evaluates small groups of possible words step by step to pick every single term, assembling even a short sentence takes noticeable time, making it an entertaining experiment rather than a responsive conversational assistant.
