Jev Plays Doom

Jev plays headless Doom from object bearings, distances, health, and ammo rather than game frames.

What it does

Scripted, random, and heuristic brains are available as clearly separate keyless modes.

How you can use it

A developer can adapt this code for a new game or creative toy. The app sends numbers like distance and health to TypeSafe, an outside AI service. The AI chooses one button to press from a fixed list. It also answers a second question about immediate danger. This requires an access key to connect the software to TypeSafe.

The code checks how certain the AI is about its choice. If the AI is unsure, the app ignores the answer. It uses simple math rules to make a safe move instead. A developer can borrow this approach. Your app could wait for a person to decide when the AI gets confused.
