Rapier physics never pauses for the network. Late decisions are discarded and labeled in the inspector rather than applied to a ball that has already moved on.

Sketch your fast-moving game rules and decide what actions the player can take. Have a developer build the game simulation so it never pauses to wait for responses. Instead of slowing down, the game should immediately drop any suggested move that arrives too late.
To try this exact pinball setup, your developer will need an access key that connects the software to TypeSafe AI. Keep in mind that slow network connections will cause actions to be discarded, leaving the ball to move on its own.
