What it does

This demo compares Jev's abstract-screening decisions with gold labels from the ASReview SYNERGY dataset.

How you can use it

Start by drafting rules for what your research requires, such as eligible medications, study lengths, or target conditions. You can gather a small set of known scientific abstracts to test these guidelines. A developer can then set up the project to send medical paper titles and summaries to TypeSafe Jev using an access key.

The software checks each abstract against your rules and suggests whether to include or exclude the study. You can borrow this rule-checking design for your own screening process, but human researchers still need to inspect the papers, as automated filters can overlook relevant studies.
