What it does

It supports Vitest, Jest, Node, Playwright, Cargo and Go, producing filters that each runner already understands.

How you can use it

A developer provides an access key to connect the software to TypeSafe. TypeSafe is an outside artificial intelligence service. When someone edits the project code, the developer runs this tool. The software looks at the changes and asks TypeSafe which tests might break.

The tool then automatically launches the regular testing software. It checks only the selected tests instead of running everything. This saves time during everyday work. However, the process is just a helpful shortcut. The software cannot guarantee that the skipped tests will pass.
