What it does

Mid-game turns can be slow because the backend scores dozens of moves separately, and the maker notes that deeper tactics remain difficult.

How you can use it

A developer can borrow this code to let an app pick from many choices. They must provide an access key to connect to the TypeSafe AI service. The game sends the board layout and a list of allowed moves. The AI scores every move at the same time. The app then plays the highest score.

You could adapt this approach for other digital board games. The app just needs to send a list of valid actions. However, turns are slow because the AI scores dozens of moves at once. The maker notes that the AI is not a real chess engine. It easily misses deeper game tactics.
