What it does

Jev attempts to solve the sliding-tile game 2048.

How you can use it

You can adapt this project to test how an artificial intelligence solves puzzles. The game runs in a web browser. An outside service called TypeSafe chooses every turn. You can change the board description in a menu to see if better instructions improve the score.

A developer connects the app to the external AI using a required access key. The code prevents impossible moves by only offering valid directions to the service. If the outside system becomes too busy, your computer automatically takes over so the game keeps playing.
