A heuristic opponent plays the other hands and code supplies the Japanese explanation. An invalid model choice falls back to the last tile.
You can sketch out a tile-matching game or practice tool where an assistant suggests which piece to discard. Before writing code, write down how you want to rate each choice, such as speed toward winning, defensive safety, or good future draws.
A developer can adapt this approach by having the AI model pick a move from fourteen tiles and score it. The developer will also need to add standard rules to play opponent turns and supply fixed explanations. If the model makes an invalid pick, the app simply discards the last tile.
