Original text goes to TypeSafe but is not saved by the local service. SQLite keeps a hash, identifier and decision. A hash is not encryption and may reveal predictable inputs. Repeated identifiers are deduplicated; changed text under the same identifier is rejected. The author tested local HTTP behavior, not a connected NiFi server.
How you can use it
For an existing NiFi message flow, try the key-free demo before connecting live data. Each message has text and an identifying label; the service returns incident, routine or review. Live judgments send the original text to TypeSafe, even though the local database keeps only its hash and decision.
Keep the original message and match the returned category using its identifying label, because the response does not include that text. Send temporary service failures to a retry path. A hash is not encryption, and local HTTP tests do not establish that this release worked with a real NiFi server.
