What it does

Keeps OpenCode on a lightweight cache-friendly parent model until Jev decides a turn deserves a stronger child agent.

How you can use it

First, decide which AI models your coding tool should use for regular tasks and difficult problems. Have a developer install the plugin into OpenCode. They will set your preferred models and save a connection key from Jev so the software can communicate.

During your session, a fast model answers everyday questions. When the tool spots a tough coding challenge, it temporarily brings in a stronger model to help. Switching models this way does not guarantee lower bills or better final code.
