A developer can add this tool to a chat program called Hermes. The tool helps the program remember older conversations. It sends saved notes over the internet to an outside service called Jev. Jev reads the notes and picks the ones that match the current topic.
A developer must provide an OpenRouter API key to connect the tool. This is an access key generated by a service to connect software to it. The checking process takes more time and money as the saved text grows. The software has a 6.5-second budget to finish its search.
