What it does

The playground shows source evidence and probabilities. Mapping is experimental and answers can vary; images stay as links, and references, files and custom validators are unsupported. Markdown goes to TypeSafe or OpenRouter.

How you can use it

If your team moves articles into Sanity, a system for storing website content, ask a developer to examine Vellum’s mapping idea. It chooses where existing source blocks belong instead of inventing missing text. Keep the source beside each suggestion so an editor can check it before accepting a document change.

The prototype needs a server-side service key and sends Markdown text to TypeSafe or OpenRouter. Missing required fields still need attention, and references, files and custom checks are not supported. Start with permitted sample documents and compare the suggested fields with the answers your editors expect.
