What it does

Signal & Noise defaults to TypeSafe Jev 1.13.0 and supports OpenAI Decisions or a compatible self-hosted server. Slow judgments leave posts visible after about two seconds; later verdicts can still fold them into a showable bar. Hosted routes need an API key. The selected provider receives post text, handles and image descriptions; OpenAI can also receive pictures. Keys and feedback logs stay in local browser storage. Behaviour has not been independently retested.

How you can use it

Choose the kinds of posts you want to mute, or describe them in your own words. Matching posts fold into a bar you can open again. The feedback buttons record whether a hide was useful, rather than proving that the model judged correctly.

Consider what you send before choosing a provider: tweet text, handles and image descriptions leave the extension for judging, and OpenAI can receive pictures too. Accounts on the always-show list are not sent for judging. Slow or failed judgments leave the feed visible.
