You can install this browser add-on manually by turning on Developer mode in Chrome. Once running, it blurs online ads and computer-written text. To start scanning, you must supply a personal access key created on TypeSafe, which lets the tool send text to their evaluation service.
A developer could borrow this scanning workflow for a custom reader, first checking an entire web page and only inspecting smaller sections if robot-written text appears. However, these scores are just estimates, any scanned text travels to an outside company, and the tool completely ignores pictures and videos.
