What it does

Depending on confidence and configuration, it can show a hint, ask before continuing, or run the corrected command; a no-match option prevents forced guesses.

How you can use it

Choose a terminal command your team often mistypes. A developer can set up this tool to wrap that program and connect it to TypeSafe using an API key, which is a special access code given by the service. When someone types an unknown word, the tool reads the program's built-in help text and asks the model to pick the closest match.

Depending on your setup, the tool can print a helpful suggestion, pause to ask you before running, or refuse if nothing seems right. Because experimental guesses can make mistakes, harmful actions like delete or reset should always wait for a person to confirm them first.
