The whole distribution is visible per move, so you can watch it weigh all eight empty cells before committing.
A developer can set up this game on your computer as an experiment. They need an access key that connects the software to the outside Jev AI service. When you play, the game gives the AI a list of empty spaces to choose from.
You can open the move history to see how the AI made its choice. The screen shows a probability bar for every open space the computer considered. A developer could borrow this approach for other simple games. The AI only handles a few choices at a time.
