What it does

Jev ranks candidates by how well they fit the task; a separate compactor trims older conversation history.

How you can use it

A developer gives the app a list of available tools. They add an access key that connects the project to Jev, an outside AI service. The app sends the recent conversation to Jev. The service then picks the most helpful tools for the current task.

To save space, the app shortens older parts of the conversation. It keeps the newest messages exactly as written. It cuts out the long results from older tasks. If the outside service ever fails, the app falls back to a basic text search to find tools.
