What it does

Writing style cannot establish who wrote a text. The local Ollama option fabricates one-hot probabilities and fixed confidence; inputs are shortened, browser keys persist, and the server has no application authentication.

How you can use it

Have a developer set up the app on your computer to get a second opinion on a draft. Its ratings point to possible repetition or padding. Read the passage before changing it. A writing habit alone cannot tell you who wrote something or whether they used AI.

You can choose an outside AI service or Ollama, which runs a model on your computer. Outside checks send shortened text away. Access keys entered in the browser stay there, and the server has no login protection. Keep it off the public internet with shared keys. Ollama’s displayed confidence is made up.
