Yardsort Assist uses the Jev model to review changed files for risks, flag unrelated work, and suggest agent settings within a parallel coding workspace.
The feature is optional and disabled by default, requiring a user-provided TypeSafe API key. When active, it sends file changes and task descriptions to the API, but never transmits terminal output. The implementation relies on a specific model version, jev-1.13.0, to maintain consistent behavior. If the API is unreachable or rate-limited, the application continues to function normally without displaying the evaluation badges.
How you can use it
To use the evaluation feature, open the application settings and enter your TypeSafe API key. You can adjust the confidence levels required to flag risky changes, identify unrelated files, and offer suggestions based on your preferences.
Once configured, the tool automatically reviews files shortly after an agent finishes writing. It adds visual badges to the list of changes, helping you spot potential issues like weakened tests or exposed secrets before accepting the work.
