CodeceptJS Decision Assertions

CodeceptJS lets a test ask whether a page meets a written requirement through I.decide or I.decideVisually, alongside its ordinary exact assertions.

What it does

The Decision helper provides I.decide and I.decideVisually with confidence cutoffs. Text decisions default to typesafe/jev-1.13 through OpenRouter; visual checks can use Clef. These checks are separate from chat-based test repair, and page text or images leave the test runner for the provider.

How you can use it

Configure the Decision helper with an OpenRouter key, then write the criterion the page should meet. This can check whether a message explains an error when a fixed text match would miss the meaning. Keep ordinary assertions for exact facts, and remember that page content goes to the provider.
