A local server keeps the TypeSafe key outside the extension; Chrome and Node are required.
A developer can adapt this project to label annoying posts on a social media feed. The software checks for specific words first. If a post is unclear, it asks an outside AI service called TypeSafe. The tool then stamps a label over the post without hiding the text.
The tool needs an access key that connects the app to TypeSafe. To keep this key safe, a developer runs a separate program on the computer. They must test the tool with real posts to ensure it labels them correctly. If the connection breaks, normal posts remain completely visible.
