Jev Minecraft

A Minecraft bot asks Jev what to do next all the way to a diamond — every tree punch, craft, and tunnel is one typed choice.

What it does

The client parser refuses an answer that names an option it never offered — the test suite feeds it a made-up fly_away action just to watch it throw.

How you can use it

You can use this approach to guide a game character through sequential goals, such as gathering supplies or crafting tools. First, sketch your character's goals in order. Then, list five to thirty allowed actions for each situation, such as mining nearby stone or running away from danger.

A developer can build the game controls and send only those allowed moves to TypeSafe, an external artificial intelligence service. To run it, you need an access key that connects your project to TypeSafe. If the AI service is unsure or encounters an error, the character safely follows regular scripted rules instead.
