What it does

One request is billed per record, and selected records or whole files reach the provider. Speed, cost and retrieval-quality claims were not reproduced. Semantic search is not exhaustive. The current documented default provider is OpenRouter.

How you can use it

jevpipe is a command-line tool that lets you ask a question about many files or lines of text at once. You pipe in your text or list of files, and it uses an AI model to answer your question for each item.

For example, you can use it to filter a list of commit messages by asking if they are new features, or you can categorize support messages by asking which team should handle them. It returns the answers so you can sort or count them.
