Compass helps you find a command in the text window used to control your computer. Start by naming the tool you want to use, then describe your task. Choose a suggestion to put it on the command line. Read it before running it; selecting it does not run it.
Online searching needs an access key from TypeSafe, the outside AI service. Your request, conversation and possible commands go there, including relevant past commands. Secret checks can miss private text, so leave out your history when needed. Offline searching matches words instead. Gathering local help can still run the installed tool.
