What it does

Jev helps choose; role settings and fixed model pins have the final say. If Jev is late or unavailable, a labeled heuristic takes over.

How you can use it

If your coding assistant splits work among smaller helpers, study how this plugin chooses a model for each job. Follow the Claude Code setup instructions and compare suggestions before letting it change models. Hosted decisions need a provider access key; the fallback uses fixed rules instead of Jev.

You can fix a helper's role to one model, but that setting overrides the risk check. Treat the budget display as advice, not a spending limit. If a request takes too long, the plugin stops waiting; do not assume the network request has also stopped.
