Solar Decide is Upstage's own decision model: send it a document and a few typed questions in the format Jev uses, and it returns a choice, a score or a yes/no probability.
It runs on Upstage's Solar Mini 4 and reads up to 512K tokens at once, so a whole long document can be the input. Upstage calls it a beta, and no one has published accuracy numbers for it yet. It is separate from Sung Kim's earlier solar-mini4-jev wrapper, which passed Jev-style requests to Upstage's chat models.
How you can use it
Solar Decide suits sorting or checking long texts, such as routing a support ticket or asking whether a contract clause breaks a rule, when you want a category or a number back rather than an essay. Upstage highlights its Korean understanding. Since no accuracy results are published, compare its answers with a sample you have checked yourself before relying on it.
