What it does
Meaningful word options work better than individual characters, but order remains elusive: one striking run found every content word in an Orwell sentence and scrambled them.
Humor & parody
Builds an intentionally bad language model by asking Jev which word comes next, one Choice request at a time.
Only you can see your notes.

Meaningful word options work better than individual characters, but order remains elusive: one striking run found every content word in an Orwell sentence and scrambled them.
To try this experiment, write an opening phrase or sentence as your prompt. You can visit the public web demo, paste an access key generated by TypeSafe to connect to Jev, and watch the app pick words one at a time. A developer can also help you run the program locally.
You can adapt this looping idea for playful writing games or creative art experiments. Because Jev is designed to pick among options rather than generate flowing text, sentence order easily falls apart. Sending the entire passage over the web for every new word also makes longer runs slower and more expensive.
